International Care Limited (“ICL”) is pleased to offer a referral program (“Program”) to its au pairs. Participation in the Program is subject to the following terms and conditions, which govern the eligibility, process, and rewards associated with referrals.
Cultural Care Au Pair Referral Program – Terms and Conditions
1. Who Can Refer?
This Program is open to au pairs who:
have successfully reached the matching phase;
are currently participating in the Cultural Care Au Pair Program via ICL (“CCAP Program”) under a valid J-1 visa;
have participated in the CCAP Program under a valid J-1 visa.
In addition, the au pair needs to be in good standing with their sponsor and host family to be eligible for this Program.
2. Who Can Be Referred?
Anyone eligible to join the CCAP Program who:
has not yet registered or applied; and
is currently not in contact with ICL regarding the CCAP Program.
3. Benefits
3.1 For the Referrer (You):
If your referred friend successfully enters the matching phase, and you have accepted these Referral Program Terms and Conditions at the time of approval, you receive a referral bonus. The applicable referral bonus will be clearly communicated in your au pair app or via official communication from ICL. How the reward is paid depends on your status in the CCAP Program:
A. If you haven’t yet paid your program fee, your reward will be applied as a discount to your upcoming program fee.
B. If you're currently in the US on the CCAP Program, your reward will be recorded during the program and paid to you after you return to your home country.
C. If you’ve completed the CCAP Program, your reward will be issued to your original payment method whenever possible. If that method cannot be used, we’ll request your bank details to complete the payment.
All rewards are subject to local laws.
3.2 For the Referred Friend:
By using your personal referral link during registration, your friend also receives a discount on their program fee.
4. How It Works
4.1 Get your personal referral link: It is available in the au pair app.
4.2 Share your link. Send it to friends via social media, email, or messaging apps.
4.3 Your friend must use your link during the registration process to qualify.
4.4 Your reward will be confirmed once your friend has successfully applied and moved to the matching phase.
4.5 The reward will be paid within 30 days after the successful referral is confirmed.
5. Legal & Compliance Notes
5.1 Participation is completely voluntary. No employment or service obligations are created through this Program.
5.2 Referral bonuses are considered nominal cash rewards. Participants are responsible for any tax obligations arising from the reward, in accordance with local laws.
5.3 ICL reserves the right to cap the total number of rewards issued under this Program.
5.4 ICL reserves the right to determine referral validity at its sole discretion.
5.5 The Program is ongoing but may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time at ICL’s sole discretion. Any changes will be communicated via official channels.
5.6 Fraudulent or abusive behavior may result in disqualification from the Program.
5.7 By participating, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and any additional guidelines issued by ICL. You also consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of administering the referral program, in accordance with ICL’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
5.8 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
